MOTOROLA TWO WAY PORTABLE RADIOS

For most of the race teams running on small oval tracks or superspeedways, Complete systems with portable radios like Motorola BPR40 , CP200 , CP200d can deliver good performances.

On the other hand, the road courses are a bit of a challenge for Racing Radios systems. Some radio setups with portable radios in simplex mode connected to high quality external components ( Antenna/ in car harness ) will cover most of those.

When it comes to Layouts in wooden areas and urban streets, a more powerful Mobile radio will be required in the race car and pitlane to ensure constant communications between the crew and the driver.

Since most open wheels race cars like F2000 / F3000 or F1 have no room for a bulky Mobile radio, a pitlane repeater or mobile radio with eleveted antenna setup is the way to go.
